I’d like to share a few bits that have become clear to me of late, and which I hope will be helpful to others.
I’d like to share a few bits that have become clear to me of late, and which I hope will be helpful to others. First, I am discovering that collaboration and networking (a more feminine experience) make life quite a bit more palatable than working alone, (a more masculine experience) and are essential for Unity to be realized. I have also found that, as I shift and balance, collaboration and networking become easier, more pleasurable and more fun. For me, this has been an experience of balancing the feminine and the masculine within myself.
At the same time, I am learning that when one is thrust out on one's own in a new environment (relatively new, in my case), the shifting and development that occur within allow opportunities to open that were neither available, nor possible in the old environment. Essentially, one chooses to take responsibility for the opportunity to move into prominence, and to operate under one's own authority and sovereignty on a level that was not possible before.
Another realization relates to balance: Unity is balance. I experience Unity only if I am fully who I am, if I am balanced on whatever level, whether it is mental, physical, spiritual or emotional. Regarding the physical level, if I am fully experiencing the abundance and prosperity of who I am, I am in balance.
There is a myth which holds that if one is "Spiritual", then one must forswear material wealth. I feel the purpose of this myth, to some degree, is to create and sustain separation, to keep people from their own empowerment, from living balanced lives, from becoming who they are, in short, from experiencing Unity.
In today’s world, the prosperity that one creates can rapidly open opportunities to help many, many people in many different ways, and on different levels. However, if one subscribes to the myth, one is disempowered and kept well and truly within the box, which, paradoxically, is precisely what one believes one is escaping by being ”Spiritual”. The myth may even cause the unconscious fear of one’s own abundance and prosperity, thereby, causing one to remain without the requisite ability, skill or will to manifest material wealth. Consequently, one is severely restricted as to how, to what degree, and to what effect one may be of service to others.
It is crucial to understand that wealth, in and of itself, is not now, nor has ever been “bad”. It is the critical choice of how one shares wealth that is of utmost consequence. If one recognizes the fallacy of the myth, its purpose, as well as its effect, and chooses to act under one’s own authority, one can experience balance and freedom in wealth, which is essential to Unity and the Love that infuses it.
